Counterfeit product makers manufacture counterfeit toner cartridges for various brands of printers. At such factories which have been discovered, counterfeits of plural brands are always confiscated. At JBMIA, it is considered effective for JBMIA member companies to work together to expose counterfeit product makers. JBMIA carries out activities to expose parties selling these counterfeit toner cartridges together with the makers. Below are representative examples of identification and prosecution, including cases of groups selling large amounts of toner cartridges of many brands which have successfully been exposed and prosecuted.
