< Examples of counterfeit product dealers being exposed >
Counterfeit product makers manufacture and sell counterfeit toner cartridges for various brands of printers. At such factories which have been discovered, counterfeits of plural brands are always confiscated. JBMIA considers it effective to work together with JBMIA members to expose counterfeit product makers. For this, JBMIA carries out activities together with the members to expose parties selling counterfeit toner cartridges (confiscation and disposition of counterfeit products, criminal charges, etc.). Through these activities, JBMIA aims for thorough elimination of counterfeit products.
Below are typical examples of identification and prosecution, including cases of groups manufacturing and selling large numbers of counterfeit toner cartridges of many brands which have successfully been exposed and prosecuted.
