< Risks arising from using counterfeit products >

When counterfeit toner or ink is used, there are many risks, including poor print quality, lower number of sheets that can be printed, and malfunction of the printer machine necessitating repairs.

• Poor print quality

Use of counterfeit toner or ink may result in poor quality of the printed image, specifically for example black or white stripes on the printed sheets, poor reproduction of colors, and rapid fading of colors.

• Lower number of sheets that can be printed

The number of sheets that can be printed with the cartridge of some counterfeit toner or ink may be lower than that printed with the genuine product.

• Malfunction of the printer machine

Use of counterfeit toner or ink may cause malfunction of the printer machine, by causing leakage of powder or liquid within the machine, by clogging the nozzle, etc.
